Haroff Auction & Realty, Inc. has been involved in the real estate auction business since 1990. Haroff Auction & Realty, Inc. was awarded its first municipal contract to auction tax foreclosed properties for Essex County in 1991, and has continually held the Essex County contract to this day. Since that first multi property real estate auction in 1991, Haroff Auction & Realty, Inc. has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in tax foreclosure laws and proceedings, as well as the marketing and sale of tax foreclosed properties.
During the past two years we conducted multi-property real estate auctions for the Counties of Chemung, Clinton, Cortland, Dutchess, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Greene, Lewis, Montgomery, Orleans and Sullivan. A total of 1,938 tax-foreclosed properties were sold and returned to the tax rolls during this two year period by using the auction method of marketing.
Our friendly, sensitive and professional approach towards the sale of tax foreclosed real estate has helped our company grow from selling 42 properties in 1991 to selling 1,636 properties in 2002 and 928 properties in 2003. Our computerized mailing list is growing on a daily basis with customers utilizing our toll free 800 number and joining our e-mail list from all over the United States and beyond.
